Kepler Events was founded by Steven Charles Matrick in 2005. Steven has spent the past decade working with Woodstock Producer Michael Lang, managing artists, booking talent and producing events. He has collaborated on many projects and events including Woodstock ’99, Journey of Hope benefit featuring Marc Anthony, Amsterjam 2005 (a 30,000 capacity branding event for Heineken), 2005 Fugees reunion tour and Missy Elliott’s recent Formula One race performance in Istanbul Turkey.

Steven produced the Green Light District stage for Amsterjam which included the best of New York City’s emerging talent including Yerba Buena, Gogol Bordello, Antibalas and the Giraffes. He has also been active as a booker and artist manager in New York Citys music scene for the past ten years compiling an impressive amount of musical knowledge and relationships with talent. He has promoted shows at venues ranging from Rothko and Coney Island High to a series of poetry/music performances at the Gershwin Hotel. Steven launched keplermusic.com in April of 2006 to promote upcoming events and feature record reviews, live music reviews podcasts, and his poetry. Kepler Events is currently producing a series of performances at the audio/visual venue Monkey Town in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and a series of acoustic events at Studio Mezmar (formerly Crobar).
